Jeff, Jen and I planned to have our families hang out at Mem's in July again, and it happened to be the same weekend as the Goguac Lake swim.
Mem and I decided a few days before to sign up for the swim! Headed out to walk to the beach where the race started
At the start
Mem crossing the finish line with a friend!
Cheering crew
Turns out I won my age group (after not swimming since last summer!)
And so did Mem!
Camryn actually made it into the paper the next day as she was captured in the background of one of the lake swim pictures :D
The rest of Saturday was a lot of play time for the cousins.
Aunt Jen painted toenails. :)
Playing in the water
Blue popsicle aftermath
S'mores at night for our family :)
It was a fun, fast weekend!

Private Swim lessons
After doing four sessions of group swim lessons, we connected with Cam's swim teacher, and planned some private swim lessons with her at her house :)
Taylor got to the point where she could swim across the pool on her front and back without help - pretty cool!
Love my little swimmers!

Beginning of July
A little recap of our beginning of July fun!!
The girls and I checked out a new splash pad at Maplewood Park - between the splash pad, park, and pond, the girls had a great time!
Snack time :)
I worked on a project to help organize the girl's school things, art work, pictures, etc. Organizing makes me happy! :D
We celebrated Annie's half-birthday - these two cuties were loving their ring pops
Dinner out at Salt and Pepper
Hanging out downtown Zeeland with the girls - they love this toy store
We got a new bed! From a queen to a king size :) (I realize I am truly an adult when I get excited about a new mattress purchase ;-)).
The girls were so curious watching the Sleep Number guys put it together.
Taylor said she was making the "face of a king" because she was on a king size bed ;)
Blueberry picking was also a highlight of July - they were so perfect!
Cam loved eating them more than putting them in the bucket. :)
Love summer with these two!
