Wrapping up April

April was quite a month...

~ Spring break trip to Florida
~ Camryn's birthday and birthday party
~ Easter
~ Combined celebration with Papa, Gaga, and Camryn for their birthdays
~ I met next year's crew of Kindergartners at our "Kindergarten Round-Up"
~ Camryn had her own Kindergarten screening at Woodbridge
~ We celebrated Grandma Betty's 90th birthday with a big party to wrap up the month!

I got to get my friend Leslie a birthday drink on a fun little night out together

Camryn has been my little buddy lately - wanting to do whatever I am doing. We bundled for a walk one night.

Gaga and Papa's birthday present for Camryn got delayed and finally arrived the same night - Camryn was so excited to get her own stuffed Poppy troll doll!

I might have given her the K assessment I give my own incoming students - she did really well!

But....our big kid, can still nap with the best of them. She crashed after we got home from G Betty's party weekend. :)

April was busy, but looking back it was a really great month! 

Easter Sunday

Easter morning...the Easter bunny came. :)

We hid eggs for the girls, and the first thing they wanted to do was get dressed, and go hunting! They each had a particular color to look for - just to help keep it fair. :) They each had a big egg with a Tsum Tsum inside it. :)

Uncle Jason also got the girls an Easter basket, too :) Cam thought it was perfect for holding her new Peep :)

After church we headed to Gaga and Papa's for an Easter brunch with Bapa and Scott. After brunch, everyone came back to our house. We had a triple birthday celebration - Gaga, Papa, and Camryn! Dad got a cake - very creatively created. :)

The girls opened some Easter things from Bapa, and Camryn got a few more birthday gifts, too!

It was a fun Easter Sunday!

Saturday before Easter

Ryan went to the Michigan Spring Game with the boys, so the girls and I had a day to hang out and get ready for Easter.

Gym, followed by lots of climbing, and some kid carrying, too :) 

We went to Mt. Pisgah for our first visit this year. Not many leaves yet, but we love that it is getting warmer!

It was a bit windy, though! The girls thought it was hilarious!

When we got home, we worked on decorating Easter eggs!
 (Cam was a little tired from the hike, can you tell? :))

The girls also loved eating one of the hardboiled eggs that cracked a bit :)
