Last few days before Christmas!

It is December 23! Tomorrow is Christmas Eve - so I wanted to make sure to get the blog caught up as much as possible before all the pictures and holiday fun begins!

I was able to convince these two ladies to go out for a holiday drink on Thursday night. :) Kalee and Leslie are my true morning crew favs!!

Friday, after school let out and Christmas break officially started, Geena came for a visit! :) :D 

We exchanged Christmas gifts :)

I got the world's LARGEST mug, and a huge Tervis, too, for Christmas gifts from students this year! Ha! The mug is so heavy!

Tay helped me make one last batch of granola for an addition to a few gifts for people. 

The girls also got to go to Grandma's for some cookie decorating. 

We are ready for Christmas!!

Holiday Fun for Tay and Cam at School

Camryn had a field trip to the DeGraaf Nature Center for "Homestead Holidays" in December - and I was able to chaperone and go with her. :)

She and her friend Allison were inseparable. 

Taylor had a holiday party where Ryan was able to go and help out.

Lots of holiday fun, and so thankful that we were able to join the girls!

A Christmas visit with Gaga

Dad and Scott brought Gaga over one Saturday in December to have dinner with us - and we made some Christmas cookies, too!

It was nice to spend some time together. :)

Gingerbread Train

 There was a Gingerbread contest that I found out my teaching partner and I had to be a part of at school. We had one week to make it. We decided to do a train and a little house - I took on the train part because I had a student this year who LOVES trains.

Making actual gingerbread - turns out I really don't like molasses!! Not a good smell. :-P

 I printed out a stencil to make the engine and cars - turned out okay!
