November means the beginning of the holiday season!!
And November 1st means....the Christmas lovies come back from the "North Pole"! :D
The girls were slightly excited!! Again! It is kind of a fun annual tradition these past couple years. :)
And we might have a little tree up, too :)
We took the girls to Salt and Pepper for dinner in the beginning of November, and Taylor brought a book along to read...instead of coloring the kid's place mat like usual. I LOVE that she is becoming such a reader!
Camryn got a new bow - and I thought she looked so much like the girl in the movie "The Little Princess"!
She also thought it would be fun to wear my "Halloween costume" one night - strong girl!
Cozy Friday nights are our thing... :)
Camryn is such a good hairdresser :-)
And November brings cold weather - and cozy hats!!
And November brought more sickness to our house. Camryn started crashing again....after it seemed like she JUST got over strep!
Took her into the doctor, and she was put on another antibiotic for a sinus infection. Little girl was miserable.
Then, the next day, Taylor crashed hard. Fever off and on all weekend. Luckily, she has a negative strep test...for now!
One good part of our weekend, when the medicine was kicking in...was having some fun making turkey crafts. :)
Taylor made her own card for me. With a little heart that popped out when I opened the card - so sweet!
We actually also managed to sneak in a super fast picture taking session with Jason to try to get a picture or two for our Christmas card this year. It was SO cold out!
We are hoping for a healthier half of November! :D Thankful for good medicine!

Parker Family Reunion
Through a lot of emails, a bunch of texts, and a lot of prayer, we were able to plan a gathering with the Parker side of my family - which had not happened in almost 7 years! I proposed a gathering for a fall meal, which turned into a reunion! Sickness kept my cousin Adam and his family from being able to travel up from Illinois, but we had everyone else gathered.
We met around lunchtime - ALL the food was had! It was delicious and we kept eating all throughout the afternoon. :)
My cousin, Aaron, designs jewelry as his profession, and I finally get to own one of his pieces! Love it! :)
My brother-in-law, Jason, came over to capture some group pictures. :)
Later in the afternoon, we carved some pumpkins as well. :)
It was such a wonderful day to gather together!
The next morning, we met at Freedom Village for breakfast (Camryn was feeling sick so she stayed home with Ryan - turns out she had strep throat!).
Looking a little sleepy...but me with Aaron and my Papa. :)
The group. :)
We are hoping that our gathering can happen, again soon!! :)
