Santa Train

The Santa Train!

Santa Claus, a train ride, a princess reading the Polar Express - all things that we decided that the girls would love this year!
Excited to be on our way to the train station!

Neither girl had been on a train before, and even though it only went 10 mph (it is a 100 year old train ;-)), they were both very excited to board!

Excited to start moving

And hearing the train whistle for the first time. :-)

Holding their tickets - just like the Polar Express

And then Santa came on our train car!

They did so well, and were so excited to tell Santa what they want for Christmas! (Taylor - "Inside Out" headquarters toy, Camryn - big Elsa lovie (a big stuffed animal Elsa)) :-)

They each got a stuffed animal from Santa's bag :-)

Halfway through the trip, the train headed back towards the station, and a 'princess' arrived to read all the kids the "Polar Express".

Hanging out on the way back, Camryn and Mem were singing songs from Mary Poppins. :-)

The whole group - what a fun ride!

Christmas Tree 2015

The Sunday after Thanksgiving, we headed out to KC trees to find the perfect Christmas tree!

It was a dry cold morning, but no snow, so that made it easy to find the perfect one!
Wagon ride out

It only took about 10 minutes before we found the right one!

We could tell it might be a little tall, but all the more to have fun decorating!
Heading back to the barn

Waiting for Ryan to put the tree on the car...the girls and I hung out inside. Pretending to be Santa, they were in the sleigh saying, "Ho, ho, ho".  :)

They ate some donut holes

And pretended to be Santa and Rudolph :)

This is the moment we always cross our fingers, and hope the tree will stay on TOP of the car on the way home. :-)

It is a tall one this year!
Decorating

All lit up!

Ready for the Christmas season!!
