Fall night....at the beach :)

Yesterday, Ry was gone watching college football with the boys, so Tay, Cam and I had a girls night. We went out to eat on 8th street, and it was so nice out, we decided to check out the beach and see how the water feels!

The new playground was the first thing they wanted to check out.

But then we made our way to the water... (snow fences are already up!)

And it actually felt really good.

So good...that Cam practically went all the way in. :)

"Taylor, look at the sunset! The sun is melting!"

Gorgeous evening, and perfect sunset with the little ladies!

September Snaphots plus a Tooth Fairy Visit!

September is always a month that can be full of fun stuff... and also tiring! Getting into the rhythm of the school year again takes some time. We have had such a warm month, that it feels like summer, but the sun seems to set so much earlier now, we can tell fall is here - and hopefully it will start to feel like it!

The girls and I took a walk to a gas station down the road from our house, and I loved the moment where Tay took Cam's hand as they walked together. :-)

Tsum Tsum's have been favorite toys of the girls lately, and the girls realized that they had the princess ones to match Cam's Disney princess shirt :)
Sunday night, post-bath, pre-bedtime game playing. Weekends have been a little more low key with the full school weeks1

School work for me - looking through beginning of the year assessments always makes me realize how much these little kinders GROW from the beginning of the year (and how much work is ahead of me ;) :)).

Summer temps = outside play

September = flag football for Ry (quarterback #33 :))

The girls love interacting with cousin Riley :)

Holding her one night while hanging out with the cousins at grandma and grandpa's house

More soccer! It was a beautiful morning for the game - and Tay was goalie for the first time!

Taylor loves listening to books on CD - Sunday morning before church, this was Taylor while I was making breakfast

And the BIGGEST news of this month was that Taylor finally lost her FIRST TOOTH! The tooth had been wiggly for about two weeks (and she was not interested in wiggling it!) - and during the night, it fell out on its own.
 New smile!

The next morning - Taylor showing off what the tooth fairy brought for her. :)

Can't believe my 'baby' girl - my first - is losing her baby teeth!! Taylor told Camryn that, because the tooth fairy knows everything, that she must have known that Camryn was her little sister, and so the reason she got $2 is so she could share $1 with Camryn. Kinda loved that. :-)

Apple Picking at Crane's 2016

It was a beautiful day for apple picking! After church today, we headed down to Fennville to Crane's Apple Orchard. It was a busy place, but there were LOTS of honey crisp apples to pick, so we got a bunch to bring home!
Driving down...

Love these two. :)
Happy as can be....holding hands and skipping through an apple orchard. :)

Camryn, thoroughly enjoying her apple.

Silly girl. :)

Trying to get a picture of both Taylor and Camryn, and Cam was being a stinker.

 One kinda good one. ;)

We stopped by the pumpkin house while Ryan was paying for the apples, and took a few extra pics. ;)

We stopped by the restaurant/bakery for some treats before heading home. Hopefully we will get to do another trip this fall!

Taylor's Soccer Team

Taylor is on her first soccer team this fall, and so far it is going really well!

Once we bought her new cleats, shin guards, and a soccer ball, Taylor did a little practicing at home with Ryan.

At her first practice - she is on the hot pink team.

Her coaches are really good, and she has a lot of strong (older) players on her team. It is a 1st/2nd grade combined team.

First game!

All smiles!

Second game....sometimes it takes a bit of convincing to get her ready to go play (busy school year can make her days seem busy I think!).... but, as soon as she gets out there, she is all smiles.

One of her favorite parts - the "high five" line at the end of a game. :)

It has been fun to watch her on Saturday mornings!
