Cam Cam! You are THREE! Friday the 13th, three years ago, you came into this world and changed our family in such a wonderful way! Taylor became a big sister, and you stole our hearts right away. :)
Cam's favorites at three ~
Lambie, pink taggie, Doc McStuffins, watermelon, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (although it is always almond butter, but she doesn't know the difference :)), hugs, ketchup, riding her Minnie bike as fast as possible down the driveway, trying foods that I am eating, chapstick, chocolate, applesauce pouches, Winnie the Pooh, fingernail polish (this is a new like!), getting to put on my blush, playing with My Little Ponies with Taylor, Dora, singing along to songs from Frozen, clementines, carrying all of her lovies and blankets to the couch and making a big comfy mess :)
Loves that ketchup :)
Helping out in the kitchen
Sitting like mama
Loves those lovies....
Wants to catch like daddy
Reading stories at night....a favorite
Cam's dislikes ~
Insects of any kind, being called a baby or little girl, using the potty, feeling like she can't do something that Taylor can do, being told what to do without being given a choice, feeling like she is being left behind, having it be too dark (when the sun used to set early before bedtime, she didn't like it when lights would be off in rooms that we weren't even playing in because it looked too dark)
Three things we LOVE about Camryn right now:
1. The way that she talks and how verbal she is, but then she is just this little three-year-old. She enunciates every word so well, and will ask what things are called, and repeat after us. The story I like to tell is that over Christmas we were visiting with my Uncle Drake, and he said that Camryn might grow up to be a radio host or announcer because she is so articulate. Then Cam looked at Drake, and clearly stated back to him "I am not articulate" - hitting every sound in the word perfectly. :) Made us all smile and laugh.
2. Hugs. Taylor is getting to be old enough now that she doesn't always ask for hugs or go for just cuddling on the couch anymore, but we are still in that stage with Cam. I love it when she asks for a hug, and I pick her up, and she wraps her arms around my neck, and her legs around my waist like a little monkey and holds on tight.
3. The way she will freely, without worrying about if we are watching her, dance and sing when familiar songs are on.... especially "Let it Go" from Frozen, and yes, she does love to try to sing along to "Hysteria" and "Pour some sugar on me" when we are in the car. :)
Three things we wish for Camryn in the next year:
1. That she is healthy. :) It was a pretty good year for her this last year, and we hope that her ear check appointments with Dr. V. continue to look good! Her left tube actually looks like it is healing better now, and we are thankful for that!
2. Happiness. :) Lots of laughing and fun memories with her. And next fall she will be at Toddlerville without Taylor for the first time, and I hope that she does okay with that change. She has lots of little friends, and enjoys her teachers, so I am sure it will go well!
3. That she keeps asking for hugs.... every day :)
