First Snow Day!

Michigan finally started to look like it is winter, and we had our first snow day mid-January!

Despite the snowy conditions, the girls and I headed out for bagels together.

A favorite. :-)

After, we headed to a new playhouse that opened up right next store to Big Apple Bagel, Meg's Playhouse. The girls got to run and play for almost a whole hour with the place to themselves (and I got some good schoolwork done, too!)

Later that afternoon, we headed out sledding...it was really windy and snowy, but the girls played for a whole hour!

The night ended with our new favorite.... Guess Who. :-)

Can't deny it, we do love our snow days. :-)

Christmas Break 2015

Christmas break felt busy this year...those two weeks went by fast, and some days it felt more busy than work days! But there was LOTS of good stuff, family gatherings, friend get togethers....

First, this is one of my favorite things to look at in the days leading up to Christmas...a room lit up only by Christmas lights (Taylor took this picture and we found it on the ipad ;-))

Christmas lovies are always a favorite in December :) (Another Taylor picture!)

Taylor got to be a "parent pick-up" the last school day before break started...always her favorite :-)

Katie and her girls, and Miss Emma (the girl's favorite babysitter :-)) came over for gingerbread house creating!

Lots of icing and candy eating by the kiddos :-)

Cute creations and fun friends!

I took the girls to the Aquatic Center one morning - it was pretty quiet, and they loved it!

Christmas cookie making

Watching the 'Polar Express' - Taylor was marching along with the elves :-)

Lots of cozy times (my favorite part of break!!)

And Katie and I got pedicures - a little pampering before the holiday craziness :-)

Sisters being silly

Some fun workouts with fun friends

And the last weekend of break, we had the CFLE gym holiday party at BAM - a local bowling alley. It was the girl's first time, and they had a lot of fun!!

Looking cute in their bowling shoes

With Miss Emma :-)

The whole crew.

I think that finally wraps up Christmas and the holidays! :)

Christmas at Bapa's

To wrap up our Christmas celebrations, we packed up Sunday morning and headed to my dad's house with Jeff's family to celebrate with the "Parker side" over there!

Again, there was a lot going on, and not many pictures were taken! We ate yummy food, opened more gifts, and just hung out together!

Can't wait for our next gathering with family - especially getting to hang out with my adorable nieces who have grown so much!
