Birthday party - part two (with some extra reasons to celebrate)

There were actually two other gatherings for Camryn's party. We did dinner and cake at Freedom Village with my dad and Camryn's great-grandparents, but unfortunately no pictures were taken!

The Sunday after Camryn's actual birthday, we had a third get-together - and made it a three-way celebration! My mom and Camryn's birthday are three days apart, and my grandma's birthday is at the end of the month, so we celebrated all three in one! Extra bonus was that Uncle Jeff and Jen were able to make it up to join us, too!

Lots of pictures taken over the course of the day...when we are all able to travel and be together, we want to capture moments that don't happen very often because of our distance apart!
(Can you tell Camryn just got up from a nap in this picture? ;))

Uncle Jeff became a favorite over the day - and if he left Taylor's side, she would say "Where's Jeff? Where's Jeff?"

Extra FUN, EXCITING bonus of the visit - getting to talk BABY talk with my sister-in-law. Anyone see the CUTE baby bump in this pic?? I am just a little excited to be an aunt...

Speedo got a lot of attention

Presents were opened

The girls got shirts from Mem from her trip to Florida

Cake was eaten - yum! Happy Birthday to Mem, G. Betty and Camryn!

Again, Camryn had no interest... and the cake was hardly touched :)
However, Taylor was enjoying sneaking little bites of frosting when she thought no one was looking

And later in the afternoon, we just enjoyed some sunshine - inside and outside. It actually felt like a spring day, which hasn't happened much lately.

Two sweeties in the sun

It was a fun day to celebrate Mem, Grandma Betty and Camryn! April is a popular birthday month in our family and this may become a new tradition! :)

Birthday party - part one!

Happy First Birthday to Camryn!!

I took full advantage of having extra time over Spring Break to have a celebration for Camryn's first birthday a little early. We got Ryan's side of the family together one evening for a little "bunny themed" party.

Combination of hosting the party, along with a birthday girl who didn't want to be put down very much, meant not too many pictures taken by us over the course of the evening, but we did manage to capture a few moments of the birthday fun.

Bunny cake (it was really cute, but a LOT of cake!! :o))

"Bunny Bait"

Presents were opened, although Taylor helped with them more than Camryn ;o)

Camryn mostly just wanted to play ;o)

Then it was cake time! Couldn't believe we were singing "Happy Birthday" to Camryn already!!

Camryn didn't have any interest in eating the frosting or cake - if I had made it out of blueberries, she probably would have dug right in! :)

Next birthday celebration (a three-way party!) up next!
