Spring Break - the second half!

The second half of spring break was highlighted by a couple of things - the girls first visit to Build-A-Bear, a birthday celebration for Cam's birthday (separate post to come!), and a visit to Mem's house!

With another cold, cold day, along with some lovely rain, I decided the girls and I needed to do something FUN together. I packed car snacks, and told them we were headed somewhere fun, but it would be a surprise.
They were super excited about going to the mall, and then were excited about getting to create their first Build-A-Bear!
Cam picked out a kitty, and Tay picked out a rainbow leopard.

Gotta love Cam's face :-)

After, we took a ride on the carousel with their new lovies

And stopped by Barnes and Nobles to spend some time in the children's department - one of our favorite places to hang out!

She loves actually READING "Elephant and Piggie" books now.... so fun!!

The next day, Mem came up for Camryn's birthday party, and on Friday we headed to Battle Creek with her to spend the night at the lake house!

We took some of Cam's new birthday toys

I attempted to get Cam to take a nap with me (I slept, she played next to me on the bed ;))

We went to a movie together (Zootopia - not Camryn's favorite!)

Of course, that night it snowed. Again. Boo.

The next day we had a yummy breakfast (Cam ate almost a whole container of raspberries)

Then, we made really cool stars out of paper! Each star had to have 14 decorated sheets of paper - and we made three of them - so 42 designed papers in all!

They weren't quite as easy to put together as the art teacher online made it look, but they still turned out pretty neat!

It was a nice week off together - and next year we will hope for WARMER weather!! :D
