Zoo!

Two weekends ago we took our annual family trip to the zoo - and as Taylor gets older, each year it gets a little more fun and exciting! The first year, Taylor was barely 5 months old, and didn't have much reaction to the experience. This year, she didn't want to sit still for one minute, and was excited about everything. :) We took the stroller along, but she only sat in it for the first 10 minutes... and with the safari trail, we estimate that she walked/ran at least 2 1/2 miles that morning!

These pictures highlight what I really like about Binder - it is out in this beautiful, natural, wooded area with lots of trails and trees. The little hills were Taylor's favorite part of the trails - she just loves to run downhill.

And of course the tunnel was a favorite, too...

As well as walking along this path with flags from every country in Africa (on our way up to the "safari" part of the zoo)...

Taking a lunch break

And Taylor wanted to sit with Camryn and I, too... :)

Checking out the zebras from afar

Taylor liked the monkeys...

Really liked the praire dogs...(we think she could have stayed there all day, watching the "mice" as she called them)

Was intrigued by the giraffes from far away...

But was not so sure about them close up :)

She was not interested in feeding the giraffes this time around - but it is so amazing to see these animals up close!

Camryn was a trooper during the toasty morning walk, and although she slept a lot of the time in the Ergo, she was awake to enjoy the experience for a bit.

It was a fun morning, and we look forward to what next year will be like as Camryn will be walking around with her big sister! :)
