Wrapping Up Christmas Break

Christmas break wrapped up with LOTS of snow, our anniversary evening out, a visit from Geena, lots of sledding, and, of course, bringing in the New Year!

Mem came to our house on Thursday so she could baby sit Taylor and Camryn, while Ryan and I went out for dinner for our 11th anniversary. :) When we got home, the girls had made anniversary cards for us. :) :)

Friday afternoon, Geena came to stay for the night! We had lots of fun with our friend who lives on the east side of the state.

We, of course, had fun at the gym on Saturday morning.

Then, we all headed to Anna's House for breakfast.

Later that morning, we went to a little going away gathering for our friend Danielle, who is moving away to Iowa.

After deciding that Geena was up for braving the drive back home, she left later on Saturday. We literally had to dig her car out of the driveway!

Lots of snow, meant lots of sledding! It is hard to make a sledding hill when there is that much fluffy snow, but with a little work, and some shoveling, we finally made a track. :)

Rosy cheeks after being outside!

Snow blowing to clear the driveway, quite often, was definitely a theme throughout break.

Our back deck looked pretty, though. :)

My "Top Nine" from Instagram, highlighted some things that I had posted from throughout the year.

New Year's Eve, we had Tim and Tanya's family, and Jon and Katie's family over for food and hanging out.

Ryan used the smoker to make the meat - it was really good!

The last morning of Christmas break, we had one more relaxed breakfast together.

Taylor even had some eggs the shape of a heart. :)

I LOVED the time off during Christmas break - always fun to just have extra time together!!
