Wrapping up Christmas Break

Christmas break was a little shorter than normal, but we definitely made the most of our time! After all the Christmas celebrations, and short getaway, we finished off our week with some more fun.

On our way back home from Kalahari, we stopped on the east side of the state to visit my grandma. It was so good to see her. She was working on getting strong and healthy enough to move back into her apartment - and since we saw her, she got the green light to go home. So thankful for that. :)

The next day after we got home, it was December 29 - it was our 10 year wedding anniversary!

Ryan found a way to put our wedding video on DVD, and the girls got to see what our wedding was like. :)

We went out to dinner together that night, and Ryan surprised me with a beautiful anniversary band. :) It was so pretty!!

We stopped to get some cake on our way home to share with the girls - and may have done a little re-enactment for the girls of what it was like when we ate our actual wedding cake. :) No smashing allowed. ;-)

One morning on break, Chris and Liz invited the girls over for pancake breakfast and watching Frozen. They were loving on Riley!

There were lots of games of UNO played - Taylor enjoyed all the games she got for Christmas!

I got a monster cookie baking gift from a student - and Camryn was more than happy to help me make them. :)

Taylor was busy making little Troll cards while we were baking. This is the one she gave me. :)

A snapshot of our New Year's Eve :)

And here was my Instagram "Year in Review" post. :) Lots of fun happened in 2016!
