February!

The BIG news of February is Taylor's birthday, but that's coming next. :)

February was long - no winter breaks this year, but then also no snow days like we have typically had the past few years! We had warmer days, colder days, super windy days...but no snow.

One day was REALLY windy, so we headed outside to the playground!

It did get warm enough for a couple days for Taylor to try out her new bike (birthday spoiler!)....still working on getting used to no training wheels!

Mouse Trap was a popular game that we played in February, too (another birthday spoiler!) :)

The girls came to work with me at school quite a few weekends. They are my perfect school companions.

Speaking of school, my superintendent surprised my class with a gift of FIVE new Hokki Stools! It was unexpected when he showed up in the middle of a lesson, and the students and I were SO excited!!

February means VALENTINE'S DAY! The girls were able to BOTH help with their Valentine's this year, which was great!

They also helped with my class Valentine's cards. :)

On Valentine's Day morning - the girls had the sweetest homemade cards for me. :)

February meant preparing for the Crossfit Games Open season! It was made clear that dumbbells would be a part of the workouts this year, so we did a lot of practicing with them during the month.
February also usually means sickness season in my classroom - and I couldn't escape it this year! I had a day at home to recover, and got to take Taylor to school at the start of her school day, which meant having breakfast with her at home. :)

One weekend, the girls wanted to make a "surprise breakfast" for Ryan and I. :) They set the table and everything. :)

Snuggles with Camryn - I will take these anytime!

Watching "Sound of Music" for the first time! (It took two nights to finish it. :))

The end of February means that we are getting closer to SPRING BREAK and our trip to Florida! The girls got some new spring dresses - we are getting really excited!
