Spring Break 2015: Part 1

Our Spring Break this year was another "staycation". We didn't travel anywhere far, but if I look back on the last 9 days, there are a lot of memories that I love and things that we got to do together!

Day 1: Friday
Aquatic Center with Kristen, Ty and Addi
The kids had so much fun! I thought the kids might last an hour or so, especially the younger two, but we actually had to tell them it was time to go when the pool was closing.

Day 2: Saturday
Ryan went to Ann Arbor all day Saturday, so it was just the little ladies and I hanging out. We decorated the house for Cam's birthday party that was happening on Sunday, we all went to my gym for a couple hours in the morning, and in the afternoon we decorated eggs for Easter!

It was a sunny day, and snack time was outside on the deck. :)

Day 3: Sunday
Easter and Cam's birthday party
Camryn's birthday party will be its own post, but we did have some Easter fun in the morning. We hid some eggs for the girls around the house.

This picture cracks me up because we were trying to get a picture of the two of them, and at the same time they both spotted an easter egg under the couch that they had missed. :)

Day 4: Monday
Dentist appointments, a tasty treat at Big Apple Bagel, and hanging out at Kollen Park

I was nervous about taking BOTH girls to the dentist. Taylor's last two visits involved a lot of crying and not cooperating, Cam had never been. BUT, Cam was a brave girl and went first. They did all her cleaning and teeth checking while she sat on my lap, and because little sister did it, Taylor finally let them clean her teeth this time, too! Smiles afterward with their "goody bags" - new toothbrushes and a new little toy.

After the dentist, we stopped by Meijer and both girls got to pick out a My Little Pony blind bag. They love these little bags that have a mini pony in it, but you don't know which pony until you open it. We headed to Big Apple Bagel for breakfast, too.

Taylor was excited about her two new ponies :)

This picture was one of the outtakes of trying to get a picture of both girls, and even though it isn't a good picture, it made me laugh. :)

After eating, we took advantage of the sunny morning and went to Kollen Park. We hadn't been to this park since we moved to Zeeland, and it was fun to be back and have the girls be that much older and more independent playing around!

Next up, Spring Break part two!
