Second Half of August + First Days of School!

End of August means the final lake days, getting ready for the upcoming school year, Open Houses, and the first days of school!

My first day of school! A week before the girls started :)

While the girls were at my mom's for the week for Mem Camp, we had a scare with our carbon monoxide alarm going off one night. The fire department came and checked it out - and it all turned out to be okay, but we were glad the girls weren't there! Cam especially hates any sort of alarm sound. ;)

So happy to see the little ladies after they were at Mem camp for the week!! 

Good for the soul. It was a really tough start to the school year, one of the hardest, and going to the lake was just what I needed!! 

Cam's enjoying one of Mem's specialities - fried egg with ham on toast. :)
