Cleveland Road Trip

A couple of weekends ago, I had a Friday off, so we packed the car and headed down to Cleveland to visit Mem, my brother and sister-in-law, and to have Taylor and Camryn meet their new little cousin, Tess!

We were more than a little worried about the drive, because it was about an hour and a half longer than a drive to the cottage, and our last attempt at a longer drive, both girls got carsick more than once. But we planned the timing so we would hopefully have minimal traffic issues, and the girls did great on the drive down and the drive back!

One cool little chica :)

When we got to Jeff and Jen's house, the girls were intrigued by the baby toys...some were very familiar, and some were new. Camryn took a liking to Tess' little monkey rug.

I {somehow} didn't capture a picture of both girls seeing Tess for the first time, but caught one of Taylor checking out her new little cousin.

Me and my little brother...don't get to see this guy enough.

After a long morning in the car, we took advantage of the sun, and headed to a nearby park. Tess dozed in the stroller. :)

This little one was quite the entertainer for the weekend :)

Jeff and Jen also have two kitties - Bruce and Theodore, which provided much of the entertainment for Cam and Tay. Taylor kept calling Theodore "Figadore" - because Minnie Mouse's cat is called Figaro, so she combined the two. :)

Taylor got to have a sleepover with Mem (one of her favorite things) out in the living room area on an air mattress.

A couple of pictures the next morning before we left.

Dada and Camryn - drawing :)
Me and my two little ladies...
I suppose Jeff and I are technically no longer the "kids" ;o)...loved that we got to visit together, and can't wait for when these girls are a little older and can play together!

And a few parting shots of Tess - just starting to show a bit of those first "social" smiles.

So, so cute!

We were grateful to Jeff and Jen for hosting us for a couple days, in the midst of having a newborn, and can't wait to see them at Thanksgiving!
